Dr. Xing Sun obtained her medical degree at the University of Calgary in 2020.  Shen relocated to Ottawa for residency training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism at The Ottawa Hospital. Dr. Sun also served as chief endocrinology resident for the University of Ottawa during her final year of training. She has presented and received multiple awards at various conferences, including Diabetes Canada and Canadian Society of Endocrinology & Metabolism.
