Dr. Eyal Kraut was born and raised in Winnipeg, and completed the various stages of his medical and specialty training at the University of Manitoba and at Queen’s University. He served in many leadership roles throughout his medical training, and has also been on the Program Planning Committee for the Canadian Society of Endocrinology & Metabolism Professional Conference. 

Dr. Kraut has worked at the LMC Downtown Toronto site since its opening in 2019. He previously worked at Cardio1 clinic in Winnipeg, and as a consultant inpatient endocrinologist at both Health Sciences Centre Winnipeg and St. Boniface Hospital. After his move to Toronto, he also saw patients at the Wharton Medical Clinic (weight management), and at Toronto Cardiac Clinic. For seven years, he additionally ran a thyroid nodule and thyroid oncology clinic at nearby Mount Sinai Hospital, before consolidating his practice full time at LMC.

Dr. Kraut sees all endocrine conditions, but his main clinical areas of expertise are diabetes, thyroid / parathyroid disease, hypogonadism / testosterone concerns, and gender-affirming hormone therapy.
