Dr. Abhijana Karunakaran relocated back to Toronto after completing Internal medicine training at the SUNY University at Buffalo and Endocrine Fellowship at Temple University in Philadelphia. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Before joining LMC, she served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at University at Buffalo. Dr. Karunakaran enjoys caring for patients with various endocrine disorders, particularly those affected with diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary disease, and osteoporosis. She is fluent in Tamil.
