Dr. Jian Zhang is a Toronto native. After graduating from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, she completed residency training in internal medicine at UC San Diego followed by an endocrinology fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Zhang has certifications in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Zhang has a particular interest in metabolic bone disorders such as osteoporosis. She is a certified clinical densitometrist of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Dr. Zhang is passionate about endocrinology. She strongly believes that patient education is a key component of excellent endocrinology care.
