At the beginning of 2017, ایل ایم سی ذیابیطس اور اینڈو کرینولوجی published a paper in the journal of Health and Quality of Life Outcomes about our novel tool – LMC Skills, Confidence & Preparedness Index (SCPI). SCPI is a new tool that can be used to assess self-management behaviours in patients living with diabetes—it measures three key aspects including knowledge of a skill, confidence in being able to perform the skill and preparedness to implement the skill.
The overall results of this initiative has showed the following:
