Dr. Shabnam Nasserifar earned her medical degree in 2016. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, followed by Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at NYU in New York. She is double board certified by the Conseil américain de médecine interne in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She also holds a certificate from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in both Internal medicine and Endocrinology.

Dr. Nasserifar’s areas of interest span all endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal disorders in addition to weight management. She has co-authored multiple published abstracts as well as posters presented at the international ENDO conference. She is passionate about providing high quality care to her patients. Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Nasserifar is a travel and fitness enthusiast. She is fluent in English and Farsi.
