Dr. Mona Vahidi Rad is an endocrinologist at LMC Thornhill. After completing her Internal Medicine residency at McGill University in 2023, Dr. Vahidi Rad pursued subspecialty training in Endocrinology at Mayo Clinic, where she served as Chief Fellow during her final year of training. She was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science prior to completing her subspecialty training in 2025. After relocating to Toronto, she completed a Thyroid fellowship at the University of Toronto before joining LMC. She is certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology & Metabolism by both the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and the American Board of Internal Medicine and also holds certification from the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Throughout her training, she has been involved in a variety of clinical research projects and presentations. She also participated in quality-improvement initiatives and received Silver certification from the Mayo Clinic Quality Fellows Program. Dr. Vahidi Rad is passionate about endocrinology and strongly believes that patient-centred care is essential to providing excellent medical care.
