A graduate of the College Of Medicine at King Saud University in Riyadh, Dr. Alasaad did his residency training in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, Canada. He is Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism by the 加拿大皇家内外科医学院 and by the 美国内科医学委员会.
Dr. Alasaad is a Fellow of the 加拿大皇家内外科医学院, the American College of Physicians 和 American College of Endocrinologists.

He brings to LMC Barrie 12 years experience as a Consultant Internist/Endocrinologist at 安保部队医院 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. On his return to Canada, Dr. Alasaad has become an active member of the Endocrine Society, Canadian Society of Internal Medicine, 加拿大糖尿病协会 和 Canadian Society of Endocrinology & Metabolism. He remains current with the latest knowledge and information in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology by regularly attending the annual meetings of the 加拿大糖尿病协会, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society as well as the Clinical Endocrinology Update 和 Board Review.
Dr. Alasaad’s practice focus is on Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome, Pituitary Disorders, Thyroid, Adrenal gland Dysfunction, Endocrine Hypertension , Male Hypogonadism and Osteoporosis.
