Dr Adel Hanna was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and moved with his family to Toronto at the age of 10. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship training at the University at Buffalo – SUNY upstate program before relocating back to Toronto in 2019.

Dr. Hanna has an interest in all fields of Endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disease, obesity, and metabolic bone diseases. He actively participated in both type 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes research during his training. He is fluent in Arabic and French as well.
