Our new patient portal is designed to reduce healthcare costs and provide patients with more convenient access to uninsured services. <\/span>The portal is where patients can order uninsured services. The portal also allows patients to receive secure messages and manage appointments at no charge. There is no cost to access and use the LMC Patient Portal.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

About the LMC Patient Portal, Uninsured Services and our Block Fee Program<\/h3>\n

Effective September 1, 2024, LMC Healthcare will begin charging for uninsured services not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). This decision is essential to ensure we continue providing the high-quality care our patients deserve.<\/h5>\n

Utilizing uninsured services is entirely optional, and declining these services will not affect the healthcare we provide you.\u00a0 Our Block Fee program offers patients 12 months of unlimited uninsured services for a flat fee. Learn more about the Block Fee program here.<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n

The prices for these uninsured services are determined based on recommendations from the Ontario Medical Association and include:<\/h5>\n

    Filling pharmacy prescription renewal requests (outside of clinic appointments)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Filling out medical forms<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Access to our Enhanced Call Center<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Compensation for no-show appointments<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Responding to medical inquiries (outside of clinic appointments)<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    *Our Block Fee program is not yet available in Calgary due to regulatory requirements, but we are working to make it accessible soon.<\/h5>\n
