Dr. Stephanie Michaud

Dr. Michaud received her certification in Pediatrics and subsequently Endocrinology and Metabolism from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Michaud obtained her medical degree with special distinction at Sherbrooke University. She went on to complete her training in Pediatric Endocrinology at the Saskatoon Royal University Hospital and the St-Justine University Health Center. She subsequently completed her fellowship in adult endocrinology at the McGill University Health Center.
Her area of interest is diabetes care with a particular focus on young adults. She is also particularly interested in the application of technology to improve patient care and quality of life.
She is currently the Head of the Endocrinology and Metabolism Service at Charles LeMoyne Hospital, and a Clinical Professor at Sherbrooke University. She is a part-time faculty lecturer at McGill University Health Center where she provides care to young adults with diabetes.
Dr. Michaud a reçu sa certification en pédiatrie et subséquemment en endocrinologie et métabolisme du Collège royal des médecins et chirurgiens du Canada.
Dr. Michaud a obtenu son doctorat en médecine avec distinction de l’Université de Sherbrooke. Elle a poursuivi sa formation en endocrinologie pédiatrique à l’Hôpital universitaire de Saskatoon et au Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine. Par la suite, elle a fait une formation complémentaire en endocrinologie adulte au Centre hospitalier universitaire de santé McGill.
Son champ de pratique est le diabète avec un intérêt particulier pour les jeunes adultes. De plus, elle s’intéresse à l’utilisation de la technologie pour l’amélioration des soins et la qualité de vie des patients.
Elle est chef du Service d’endocrinologie et métabolisme de l’hôpital Charles LeMoyne, et professeur d’enseignement clinique à l’Université de Sherbrooke. Elle est également endocrinologue à temps partiel au Centre hospitalier universitaire de santé McGill où elle participe aux soins des jeunes diabétiques en transition
