Dr. Patricia Peticca is a clinical Endocrinologist in Ottawa, Ontario.   She completed training in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Endocrinology & Metabolism, at the University of Ottawa.   During her fellowship training, Dr. Peticca was the recipient of the Peter Garner Award for her research activities.   She has published many research papers to-date; and co-authored a chapter in a textbook titled “Maternal Critical Care: A Multidisciplinary Approach”.   Dr. Peticca has also delivered numerous oral presentations at various annual conferences, including Diabetes Canada and NASOM.  

Dr. Peticca currently holds a full time community practice at LMC HealthCare, and participates as a clinical investigator with Centricity Research.       She also serves as a physician examiner with the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Medicine; and is actively involved in CME’s for other health care professionals: including family physicians, diabetes educators and pharmacists.

Dr. Peticca has an interest in all fields of Endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary, adrenal disease, and pregnancy -related endocrine disorders.    She is commited to providing care to all patients with compassion, and in a welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
