border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Some key features to look for in a new pair of running shoes:<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Rubber outsole for traction control<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Moderately firm midsole for support and cushion<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Heel counter should be firm and have an \u201cAchilles Notch\u201d for comfort<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Comfortable cushioned tongue to prevent forefoot irritation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Eyelets with laces allow for shoe adjustability<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Breathable upper for proper ventilation<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">Removable insole to allow for space with custom orthotics<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span class=\"s1\">The shoe should withstand a \u201ctwisting\u201d motion, like wringing out a towel<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;Row&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Text&#8221;
